@PhoneDesigner created the highly detailed images which suggest the phone will have a front screen design that’s similar to the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus.
Having previously been mocked by Samsung for the huge camera notch on the screen of the Pixel 3 XL, the tech giant appears to have taken this as constructive criticism.
The new images suggest that the front-facing cameras will now be housed in a small cut-out in the top right-hand corner of the display. The render images also suggest there will be no fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone, which is a common feature on other Google Pixel devices.
This could mean that the device could have a finger print scanner on the display or a facial recognition.
The Pixel 4XL has two cameras on the back suggesting that Google is moving away from its ‘one camera is enough’ mantra.
It also looks like the company will stick to a dual tone casing design. Google’s smartphones are well regarded as being good value with excellent cameras and the Google Pixel 3 was largely a success. This is why so many Android fans are eagerly awaiting the next thing Google has to offer.
